My body is a room filled with antiques…was a twenty minute uninterrupted walk, an impromptu movement dialogue between past and present canonizations, techniques and norms that Penkova observed had transformed her body into a an antiquarian. The goal was to refurnish, update and recycle. With chalk mapping out on the floor links, bridges, entrances and exits that enable other values, expressions to enter. We need the past to reflect on what has come before us and to thereby understand where we are going.  

From 2025 Penkova starts collaborating with dancers across Europe in a format of one week residency where each dancer is guided with  tools and methods behind the work, allowing each dancer to uncover and share their movement dialogue between their past and present experiences.  A twenty minute walk seemlesly transforming into a dance:
